OK, so I guess Cornell might be better than us.
Pretty good game Saturday night, but I think Cornell pretty clearly outplayed us. Their forecheck was great, and our guys never really seemed to get comfortable. Two beautiful goals by Kyle Wilson, though - he is a great scorer.
Cornell takes over first place in the ECACHL. But perhaps more importantly, that drops our PWR to 26 - one spot below Holy Cross, and way out of contention for an at-large bid to the NCAAs. It's becoming pretty clear that the only way we're going to make the NCAA tourney this year is by winning the ECACHL tournament - something Colgate hasn't done since 1990.
